The Office of Study Abroad, in partnership with CIEE, is excited to announce a new scholarship available to study in Berlin, Germany this fall semester. Take classes in English or German in a wide variety of fields through CIEE’s Open Campus Berlin program. This program is open to any major and students with any level of German language proficiency, from complete beginner to expert. The fall scholarship deadline is coming up soon on Monday, February 9 and you can apply here!
Scholarship Info
In an effort to support the Institute of International Education’s (IIE) Generation Study Abroad initiative, the Office of Study Abroad and CIEE will award 3 grants at $6,000 each for the Fall 2015 Berlin Open Campus Program.
Key Features:
CREDIT – this program offers students the opportunity to complete 18 credit hours in the areas of Business; Communications, Journalism and New Media; Political Science and International Relations; German Language and Literature, and the Health Sciences. In addition, students can opt to complete an internship, engage in directed research, or participate in a service-learning program.
DURATION – Fall Dates are August 17 – December 18, 2015
LIVING – participants on this program live in either a Student Residence Hall or Homestay
PREREQUISITES – applicants must possess a GPA of 2.5 or higher, no language experience is required
LANGUAGE OF STUDY – participants can take classes in both English and German
Fall Scholarship Deadline is Monday, February 9 – apply here! The deadline for the scholarship has been extended to Thursday, February 12th. Students have until midnight that night to apply online and complete the scholarship essay.
