Work in Madrid over the summer!
Program Highlights
The Madrid internship runs for eight weeks from late May to mid-July, with a two-day orientation in Madrid upon arrival. Chances to explore the cultural activities as well as further immerse yourself in the language are included! A variety of working outlets are available, and the program is well known for internships within business, politics, NGOs, law, marketing, media, healthcare, and education.
Why Intern Abroad?
These internships are great opportunities to network abroad while gaining experience outside of the classroom that can be a positive addition to your resume. Also, participants receive up to 256 contact hours as internship credit on their transcript through the University Career Center. As an added bonus, students work Monday through Thursday, leaving Fridays open to further explore and roam around Madrid or travel to another country over the weekend!

Students stay briefly in a hotel before moving into a homestay with a Spanish family for the rest of the program, allowing for language improvement and closer cultural ties.
Why Madrid?
Madrid is Spain’s capital and largest city. It is ranked as one of the most livable cities in the world! With museums, parks, and other cultural attractions, there’s always something for students to do in their free time!
